“SCENIC VIEW OF THE GUILIN MOUNTAINS, XINGPING”, 1983 SIGNED ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR BY THE CHINESE ARTIST TANG WANQING (1932-2018)

This wonderful watercolor landscape painting, a scenic view of the Li Jiang River with the Guilin Mountains that reach up to the sky, is by the Chinese artist Tang Wanqing, also know as Shuiyi, a native of Liling, Hunan Province. The watercolor is titled, dated and signed by the artist, and with the artist’s red chop mark, in the image upper right. Painted on wove paper and silk matted. The image size measures 14 x 20 inches, the full sheet size with silk mat border measures 20 x 25 7/8 inches. The watercolor comes unframed.
