SUN…orange, green, blue and blue, by artist/architect Amy Landesberg, consists of a group of seven stainless steel winged forms; each lifts brightly colored translucent glass panels into the air. These colored “wings” glow in the daylight, casting dramatic abstract shapes across the face of the building. Acting informally as sun-trackers, these colored shadows change rhythmically through the course of each day and throughout the seasons of the year, providing variation and visual interest to the building facade. The artist writes: “As if a flock of luminous shadow-casters had alighted on the face of the building, the pieces perch on their stainless steel posts in a wind-blown formation.”
