In a highly-participatory and hands-on project, artist Ray Pierotti taught a team of Bowden seniors about the light-sensitive mixed-media layering technique that he utilizes in the creation of the work. Along with the seniors, Pierotti created a series of 48 panels that are installed as a mural in the foyer of the facility. Some of the panels were created by Pierotti, others by individual seniors, and all hang together in this beautiful example of artistic collaboration.
