The Fulton County Public Art Program commissions, acquires and maintains art for County facilities as well as providing cultural enrichment programming.
MessageHope Hilton is a graduate of The Atlanta College of Art and earned her MFA at CUNY Hunter College. She works with communities and students of all ages to inspire and facilitate a sense of place, history, and agency. Recently completed projects include the writing of over 200 personal letters to anonymous participants for College of the Canyons, Valencia, CA, a Topophilia workshop with teens in Bonao, Dominican Republic, and a project about her love of reading at The Kitchen, NYC as well as in Beit HaGefen Art Gallery in Haifa, Israel. She is the Artist in Residence at The New School of Atlanta, as well as the director of FIELD/WORK, a nomadic art school based in experiential learning and mindfulness. Hilton has published her first book, Walks, completed a multimodal residency at the Lillian E. Smith Center of Piedmont College, and was a finalist for the inaugural Hudgen's Prize.
