The Fulton County Public Art Program commissions, acquires and maintains art for County facilities as well as providing cultural enrichment programming.
MessageAtlanta native Catherine Wilmer is a photographer who splits her time between Atlanta, New York, and Paris. Catherine earned a BFA degree at The New School / Parsons School of Design and is currently pursuing an MFA in Photography at Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta.
Catherine’s photographs have been shown nationally and internationally. In Atlanta, she had solo exhibitions at Trois Gallery at Savannah College of Art & Design in Atlanta in 2019 and at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia in 2015, in addition to a two-man exhibition at Swan Coach House Gallery. In 2019, she participated in two group exhibitions at South x Southeast Gallery ,and in 2018, was in group exhibitions at Photo Buckhead Juried Exhibition, Honorable Mention – Atlanta, GA, The Staged Poetic Image Group Exhibition – Rockport, ME, Atlanta Photography Group – Atlanta, The Documentary Project Group Exhibition – Red Hook, Brooklyn, The Drum Major Project Exhibition, Fulton County Arts & Culture Public Art Program, Peachtree Gallery, Atlanta.
