‘Triad of Giza’ - Framed
My inspiration:
These 3 beings depict the Giza pyramids Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure.
A pyramid standing alone reflects the underlying aspects of the divine unity with 4 faces. Three faces to the heavens, and one face to the earth (you, the viewer of this piece is also the 4th face). The pyramid is composed of 4 equilatoral triangles, which all manifest the cosmic nature of the ONE Circle; 3 in 1 and 1 in 3. This is the symbol on the shoulder. The circle represents completeness. At the spiritual level the pyramid is a symbol for the integration of self-and soul. It depicts life, death, and also contains rebirth.
The Ankh - “key of life” in my piece is not a true depiction of the symbol. It is a mix of the traditional female symbol and the Ankh. The female is the birther of life. The male symbol is the activator and preserver of energy, which you see pushing into the ear of Khufu.
