Letchworth State Park, located in Northwestern NY is billed as the "Grand Canyon of the East". While not even close to the real thing, Letchworth is a beautiful park with the river cascading over a series of three waterfalls in a deep limestone gorge. This view is of the first waterfall which has the added attraction of the trestle bridge spanning the gorge overhead. This piece was painted en Plein Air onsite at the falls.
