The Promenade along the Havre de Grace waterfront is a wonderful place to take a walk, with lots to see. Near one end of the Promenade a tidal pond nips into a cove and creates an inviting habitat for geese and ducks. On this spring day I spied two ducks napping on a log and knew that I had to paint them. This scene features the ducks and the reflections of the trees and bracken on far bank.
