This painting is from my series called "The Holographic Universe," which delves into the human experience.

"Bacha Bazi 2017" addresses the harrowing practice of "bacha bazi," which translates to "boy play." In societies where women are forbidden to be seen in public, this ancient dance form has tragically evolved into a means of normalizing the exploitation and rape of young boys. Through this painting, I aim to highlight that rape is not a sexual act but a violent act committed against another human being, shedding light on the devastating impact of this practice on innocent lives.
