This work is one part of five different works that were painted at the same time, all five are considered singular works. They are the story of chaos into clarity with a work related to depression. Five Problems 02 is the second work of the five and it deals with organizing the chaos that surrounds us and keeps us from being clear. It is a positive step towards clarity of mind and heart.
I use oil paints because it allows for all five works to be worked on at the same time without them drying out so I am constantly mixing as I paint (digging through the painting - more like building).
