During my visits to London, I often pass through Camden Town. One day, while walking by Regent’s Canal, I saw him. Multicolored straws cascaded from his head like bouquets, and his jacket, adorned with oversized shoulder pads, bore large stars that seemed to accuse anyone who failed to notice them. His red pants commanded attention, reflecting his bold stride. This was Mr. Freak.

In this painting, we see Mr. Freak walking confidently with his dog, while an octopus peeks from his left side. The octopus serves as a reference to the Galician Octopus dish the artist was about to enjoy at the time of creating the work.
