Monkey Mind IV by Fernanda Lavera Image: The fourth and last work that completes the Monkey Mind series.
The three Wise Monkeys: Mizaru, Kikazaru and Iwazaru.
Of Japanese origin, their names mean: Not to see, Not to hear, Not to say.

It is not a submissive position, which accepts without hesitation what happens, but rather a decision to omit those comments that harm ourselves or others. A code of conduct that recommends prudence. An attempt to not over-talk, to try not to listen or see what’s close to evil.

On the canvas, restless minutes play at not seeing, not saying and not hearing.
