After a long drive I snagged a lovely campsite at Island Lake in the Beartooth mountains. I was so tired, rather than going down to the lake to paint I simply set up by the van in a shady spot and painted this tree. Sometimes that's my favorite way to paint, no muss no fuss, just get out and sit somewhere and paint what is there!
