Stretching 1800 feet from the floor of Yosemite Valley, Ribbon Falls is one of those seasonal hidden wonders. You can climb up to the base by scrambling along Ribbon Creek. On this trip we saw two peregrine falcons. And a spectacular ice shelf at the base. The wind was creating little tornados with the falling water.
