In 1956 the Brooklyn Dodgers threatened to leave NY if the city would not help them build a new stadium. One design proposed featured an R. Buckminster Fuller dome for the crossroads of Flatbush and Atlantic Avenues. This painting depicts that never-built design. It originally appeared as the cover and illustrates an article inside Brooklyn Bridge Magazine, May 1997 issue.
Sale of the artwork will include one original copy of the magazine.
