Warp and Weft Series
The expression 'warp and weft' is used metaphorically as the way fabric equates to a person’s life, that is to "the fabric of a person’s life". Warp and weft is used similarly for the underlying structure upon which something is built, as in a person’s life experience that are woven together. 'Warp and weft' is used to describe the basic dichotomy of the world we live in, as in, up and down, over and across.
