Nicholas Cardell Gore is a self-taught contemporary mixed media artist from Erie, Pennsylvania. A 12-year veteran, he rediscovered his passion for painting in 2020, using art to explore themes of culture, identity, memory, and resilience. His work often reflects on the Black experience, personal loss, and complicated human emotion. Drawing from his military experiences and personal challenges, Gore’s work often draws from the power of emotion.

Gore has exhibited his work in Erie, Atlanta, and Chicago. His first solo show, “Give Me My Flowers”, was at Grass Grower’s Gallery in Erie in 2023.
