Under Burnt Hill -
There exist a multitude of strange stone structures across rural New England, most of which have not been researched or studied fully. Most seem to predate first-contact with colonists by a few hundred years, and little is known of their purpose or function, beyond aligning with certain celestial events (solstices, equinoxes). Most are on now private farm property, inaccessible to the public. These structures were not valued by most farmers initially, and many were lost without any record, though thankfully some were kept around and maintained as local oddities. On a hill in Western Mass (near Heath), now on a Blueberry farm, sits a circle of stones on a hill where no other plants seem to grow (which was partial inspiration for some of H.P Lovecraft's later writing).
