My contribution is inspired in the mythological story of Mictecacihuatl, who was sacrificed as an infant and now she watches the bones of the dead. As dawn approaches, she opens her mouth and swallows the stars.
Usually represented with a flayed body and skeletal features, I wanted to go on a different route. She is the Queen of the Underworld and ruler of the afterlife after all.
