Lady of the Vanir

Titled” Lady of the Vanir," my artwork portrays the Norse goddess Freyja, depicted alongside her faithful boar, Hildisvíni, and her two winged cats, Bygul and Trjegul. I've chosen a palette rich in greens and golds to symbolize the themes of wealth and fertility intimately tied to this revered goddess. Notably, Freyja possesses a mystical feathered cloak that grants her the extraordinary ability to assume the form of a falcon. I hope that my artwork has honored the intricate facets of Freyja, the Lady of the Vanir, and captured her enchanting significance within Norse mythology.
