Blue Moon

'Blue Moon' is inspired by a grey Arabian horse and is made from multiple laser cut paper layers painted in watercolor. Vintage rhinestones line the border to mimic antique lightbulbs of old fairground rides, and 24K gold gilding references the opulence of these handcrafted creatures. This piece is framed in a gilded shadowbox with nearly invisible museum glass and is ready to hang. Although the piece is 7" square, it hangs diagonally and will take up a width of 10" on a wall.
