What started as a simple graphic idea for a commissioned textile design became something of an exercise in (and observation of) chaos and the creative process--a process which could be defined as starting with a purpose/idea/structure, adding thoughts/ideas/time, then coaxing some order/meaning/understanding by adding to or subtracting from the resulting chaos. I find I generally add to and rarely subtract. ... In life that might explain why my place is such a clutter.
