Sculpted in honor of the 2018 World Equestrian Games, Sliding Stop captures the energy of the reining competition. As in many of my sculptures, an antique spur (artist unknown) is forever memorialized on the heel of the riders boot which is the base of this bronze. Of course the rowel goes around! We are professionals here. LOL.
