Birds And Flocks is a symbolic study of mastered chaos whether in the family or the workplace creating equilibrium and balance within ourselves is the single most important technique we can utilize. This is also part of the unresolved chord. Unresolved Chord is an abstract painting study that was performed by Nima Veiseh to answer the question to translate physical techniques in music into the magnificence of art and to unlocking the secrets of art. The particular technique involved or particular questions to be answered is, how did great musical masters like Beethoven and Mozart tug on our heartstrings. The answer to that question towards the end of the classical music era and the beginning of romanticism is the use of a technique called the unresolved chord. In music, a chord has a full cycle. The cycle of a chord starts from the root, goes to the first inversion then to the second inversion and then back to the root. The best example of this is Beethoven’s Fur Elise, where you feel multiple times that the song is going to end but it doesn't then it continues its final iteration, it resolves and the song ends. The trick with utilizing the unresolved chord technique in abstract art is to notice that each of Nima Veiseh's paintings involve 20 layers of paint. However, when you look at the paintings each layer, which is composed of different colors only goes about 2/3's to 3/4's around the painting then stops to be picked up by another layer. This overlapping, layering technique creates a very unique signature movement that draws the observer in and holds them in harmony, just like the work of Mozart. Had each layer been symmetric, the painting would actually be very boring to look at. However, by utilizing techniques from the classical-music and translating them through time into art, they become magnificent, rich, timeless artifacts on canvas.
