Sauced restaurant is located in my very own Haynies Corner neighborhood which is part of the art district. It was one of three restaurants/bars in the district to receive a grant from the city to renovate its structure. This was a huge incentive to improving the neighborhood known for its blight prior.

When opening the door of Sauced Restaurant, you are immediately greeted by the hostess. However, most don't even notice the intricate tile work directly underneath their feet. It was the perfect pattern for wearable art! So much so, that I styled it in three separate color palettes. The purple and green color way was its second version. It is used for the kimono jacket I am wearing, and the dress, bag and umbrella in the background.

Sauced Restaurant (formerly known as Kirby's) was the first restaurant at Haynies Corner before it was ever established as an art district. And chef owner, Scott Shymik, is a big reason the corner is successful today.
