This painting embodies my love affair with nature. My recent move away from the city and into the thick forest of Morrison, Colorado has brought me so much happiness. I wanted to capture this joy in a series of paintings as an ode to these hills. This piece captures my favorite meadow during the height of fall, my happy place.
