Welcome, my name is Emily. I am a contemporary painter living in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am currently obsessed with chairs. I find them to be an evocative metaphor for the human experience. Much of my inspiration comes from personal reflections, my interest in psychology, human relationships and a deep desire for self knowledge. I hope that my work allows viewers to experience a peaceful centered sense of self and a broader impression of connection through the universal shared experience of being human.
