Snood

I have used natural threads of tussah silk, bamboo, banana silk and cotton woven into a black cotton warp on my Saori loom. The varying thread widths and irregularly weaving create a piece that is almost deconstructed weaving. When dipped and set as a sculpture and displayed in a shadow box the piece becomes a story.
