Chillika Lake

I painted this on my return to Australia, as I was painting I could feel the day I spent on Chillika Lake. The soft and humid breeze, the lap of the water, the blue on blue on blue of the sky, the fishing nets and the stringy weed. You could just make out the distant shore, it is such a large lake.
This was a new technique for me. It's almost as if Chillika demanded to be painted this way.
