August Moon is inspired from a jazz festival attendedin Lanai. We had scheduled a weekend get away and did not know at the time our hotel would be hosting this amazing festival. I also, had just gotten my first i-pad as a Christmas gift. I spent hours sketching on it during the festival. This painting is from one of those sketches and concerts.
