Even when a portrait is destined for a boardroom, it's still possible to add a personal touch to a painting, or somehow incorporate visuals that speak to the history of a business. In this painting I had a chance to do both, by honoring the sitter's environmental influence by including in the background a number of classic pieces of jewelry on the theme of flora and fauna.
