This piece was created for a lovely lady who had just purchased her new home. Wanting something bright and beautiful at her front door to welcome her guests inside, I was contacted to re-create the colourful, vibrant parrots she so loved. The acrylic on canvas piece is certainly a statement piece, standing almost as tall as me! The use of this medium is perfect as a large piece, allowing for the creation of bold, colourful strokes and delightful texture through the use of the pallette knife.
