Upcycled Bag

This is my take on an eco-friendly bag. It is made from food packaging and labels collected from around the world. The food products range from tea, coffee, beer and wine, to pastries, biscuits, chocolate, rice and even a dish towel. The countries represented include: Greece, Italy, France, Russia, S. Korea, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, the U.K., Scotland, Ireland and the U.S. to include Puerto Rico. Food is another thing that brings us together. I thoroughly enjoyed taking the packaging from various luxury goods and transforming them into a modest reusable grocery bag. It becomes something vibrant, usable and accessible. The original is sealed on both sides and can hang from the handles; it does not need to be framed.
