Sway

This piece emerged immediately following a guided meditation exploring the idea of creativity and how to express it. It was a focused introspection along with breath work to observe what impressions presented themselves. Recording and expressing those ideas became the foundation of this collage. The purpose of the meditation was to consider how to connect to our inner creativity and also encourage others to do the same. A profound but simple truth is that one must remember to play and trust the joy in the process. Taking the time to just create without any preconceived notions of what that is supposed to be like is the lesson itself. This abstract image is about being grounded to a source of inspiration and radiating from there, in any direction you are led. Likewise this piece can be oriented in any direction you choose. Movement, fluidity, influence - sway.
