Venice Underwater City Daytime Limited Edition of 200
With impending, ongoing global warming and the rising water table, Venice is in danger of being lost to the sea and becoming an underwater city. The images I used are Venice’s buildings and bridges reflected in the water during the day. I flipped them upside down so they appear underwater. My hope is that words and art may do their part to wake people up to what is happening to our fragile earth’s ecosystems. In the dystopian future, not so far away, we will have to tour Venice by snorkel.
