Taken in Dos Palos around 1960 this work captures three sisters that were members of the Cherokee nation. The sisters grew up in Oklahoma near the Cherokee reservation but moved to different states later in life. Although they may not look like tribe members the Cherokee nation is one of the largest and as such has a very diverse membership.
