I was first introduced to the writing of Bell Hooks through her book "All About Love". Her definition, evaluation, and analysis of love radically impacted how I processed my upbringing, intimate relationships, and life experiences. Later her explorations of race, feminism, capitalism, and gender help me understand intersectionality. She was a philosopher, writer, educator and social critic.
