Imagine, it is a night when the KPI index, a measure of the likelihood of aurora activity being seen at various latitudes, is the highest you've ever seen. You witnessed it at the beach then again at the bridge. You're driving to a new spot when it hits you: the lighthouse! The park is closed, the gate down, but a short hike just over one mile will take you there. So, you strap on your 50 pounds of photography equipment and begin the long trek. You are in total darkness and not even sure if your gamble will pay off, when you step around a bend and are faced with a scene that looks like it comes straight out of a fairy tale. The proof is in the photo. The reveal happened, and this is the first print to share it with you.
