Artist: Barbara Borck-Hart x
Originally from New York City, Barbara Borck-Hart grew up surrounded by art. Her mother, also a talented artist, painted murals on the walls of the family home. She received her first set of paints when she was only three years old and has been painting ever since. She graduated from NYU with a degree in fine art and traveled extensively through Europe, where she found herself captivated by Impressionist paintings.
Borck-Hart has shown her work in museums and galleries across the United States. Her bold, fearless style emphasizes line, color and form, and invites the viewer to enter into a world of lush, colorful impressionistic scenes.
Her work is part of the permanent collections of a number of major corporations, including Chase Manhattan Bank, General Electric and Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co.
