I am a collage artist. I love paper and incorporate painted and embellished papers into every collage. All my works are about a sense of touch (papers and collage) and my pleasure with color (painting).
My work is described as geometric, lyrical abstraction. I create geometric collage in the context of modern art, and am inspired by Paul Klee (Swiss 1879-1940) and the Bauhaus, the art school that combined crafts and fine art.
I write about modern artists – especially women artists who work with a collage aesthetic – at the Art of Collage. I teach workshops and classes. I exhibit collages and paintings at galleries regionally and nationally, and my works are included in public, private, hotel and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Austria, India, Japan, New Zealand and the Republic of Singapore.
