Not Grandpa's Great Lakes Art Number 8

Anyone tired of those dead moose heads mounted on the wall? What about the stuffed raccoons on the tabletop? How about the same-old-same-old lighthouse, tankers, beach chairs by the lake compositions and scenes? There’s certainly plenty of those around. I decided to break a few traditional rules and do something fresh and different—at least in this odd and imaginative style. People love my smaller Great Lakes Lovelies florals, so I decided to do a series of imaginative Great Lakes inspired art for 21st century living and call them Not Grandpa’s Great Lakes Art. Why not add a little fun and humor to a work of art?

For this painting, I wanted to create more boldness with the blue and red flowers but still maintain a feeling of gentleness and beauty.
