花園系列-池塘 Garden - Pond

《花園系列》作品發想來自阿嬤家,家中從民國 70 年到現今所購買的家具擺設,阿嬤
從小灌輸神佛觀念的習俗,在這些各時代的家具與不同信仰的交織,就像中古時期國王華麗
的花園包羅萬象。我將這些記憶加入想像,發展成創作題材。畫面中所出現的場景以阿嬤家
寬敞的客廳為基底,在客廳裡擺放許多小時回憶,像是婚喪喜慶的流水席、阿公的進口轎
車、阿嬤信仰的矛盾,將所有的記憶加入長大後感到的疑惑,放置到我所建構的花園裡。

The idea of “Garden Series" originated from my Grandma’s home and the relative historical context,
including furniture bought in the 1980s as well as spiritual beliefs and customs taught by my grandma
since childhood.
The physical form of the furniture is intertwined with these different spiritual beliefs, making it
Omnifarious just like the gorgeous garden of the king in the medieval era.
I integrated these memories into imagination and made them the source of my creation. The scene
included in these paintings is based upon my Grandma's spacious living room, which contains various
childhood memories, such as wedding receptions, funerals, my grandpa’s imported car, as well as a
virtual concept like the religious conflict that occurred to my Grandma.
All these memories, together with the confusion after growing up, are materials I used to construct
the “Garden Series”.
