This is a 1945 Salmon seiner, originally a buy boat from the Pacific Northwest, now, a coastal cruiser and live aboard on the coast of Maine. Thats where I saw the Island Maid II, first in Rockland, then in Port Clyde. She is a beauty that had to be painted. I did enhance the green, the actual green is more muted, but I liked it brighter. The painting is for sale, but so is the boat, as beautiful inside as outside.
