An early ferry to Ocracoke found me in the middle of a beautiful sunrise with pink light and working watermen. This painting is a nice balance of abstract shapes, lighting, and realism.
Maybe I should have named it Shrimp or Seafood, Its What's for Dinner, but Fish just seems to fit.
Fish made its public debut at the Bank of the Arts National Juried Show in September/October.
Fish was also selected for the BoldBrush Painting Competition - FAV15% (September 2018),
and will be on exhibit at the Steamboat Art Museum, Steamboat Springs Colorado, for the American Women Artists National Exhibition-
Looking West.
