To rest in the colour blue is a serene and tranquil state of being. Many shades of blue are found in nature; the pale blue of a daytime sky, the mid blues of a lake, or the rich dark blue of the deep ocean. Water views of lakes, oceans and rivers are valued because of their aliveness and beauty, and the continual change of blue hues that keep us mesmerised.
