This original oil painting was started as a 'en plein air', or in fresh air, painting and completed in the studio.  The great white heron in the distance seems so alone in the vast marsh on the coastal Amelia Island Plantation in northeast Florida. 

Ring among trees and green space not only reduces CO2 levels and provide oxygen. It also reduces stress, improves mental health and promotes physical activity.
