Botanical sea life in the form of kelp, and sea anemones peeks out just under the transparent surface of the water in this piece. A sea stack graces the background among worn rocks pounded from the surf over time. Shi-Shi Beach is located on the rocky coast of Washington state.  This original oil painting was created in my studio with a reference photograph with express permission from Landscape Photographer, Narvin Sarma.
