Cumming, GA
A glimpse into her life's journey, Diane’s paintings weave a tale of overcoming life’s detours and a deep connection with the world around her.
MessageWater universally represents life. It brings forth thoughts of purification, rejuvenation, and transformation. It is for this reason that many religious and spiritual ceremonies involve water - a cleansing of the body, mind and soul.
It also promotes relaxation; the soothing sounds of its movement and the sensation of buoyancy create a meditative experience. When the mind is cleared of distractions and chatter, it opens the door for positive thoughts to seep into the subconscious.
Dragonflies and butterflies represent transformation, change, and new beginnings, and the bumblebee embodies qualities such as interconnectedness among all living beings, resilience, and a sense of community.
With the insertion of water and insects, and added affirmations written throughout, resurgence of positivity and the connectiveness through all living things were clearly the inspiration behind this painting.
Transformation is in the air!
