A quiet country road by a post fence runs past a farm house. This bucolic scene could be anywhere in the South. I had a feeling of nostalgia as I painted this landscape oil painting from a photograph taken by my cousin, an experienced photographer, while she was on a bike ride near Asheville, NC.
