The Lily and the Ladybug

While strolling through Crystal Springs Rhododendron garden in Oregon I saw this pretty lily adorned with water drops from fresh rain. The sun glistened on the droplets. In my studio as I painted it, I felt the need to add a companion, and so the ladybug became part of the summer morning scene.
